The SIMBAL 'I-READY' radio control system includes an infra-red start up feature which requires a line of sight signal between transmitter and receiver to activate the system. This added safety feature significantly reduces the chances of accidental start up in busy workshop areas.
Once the system has been activated, the control then returns to the standard radio signal.
